John Robert Davidson, Jr. (“J.R.”)


J.R.’s practice focuses on all aspects of Federal and State taxation, including representation of clients who invest in limited partnerships and limited liability companies that develop affordable housing projects using tax credits under Sections 42 and 47 of the Internal Revenue Code, as well as debt financing of affordable housing transactions.

Prior to Liles & Rushin, LLC:

Prior to joining Liles & Rushin, LLC, J.R. was an associate at the Mobile, Alabama firm of Adams and Reese LLP from 2015 to 2016, where he was in the general transactions, banking and financial services, real estate, economic development, and taxation practice groups. He was also tax staff with the Atlanta office of Ernst & Young.

Professional & Civic Interests

J.R. serves on the advisory board for the Kyser Miree Memorial Fishing Tournament, which is in its 6th year, and raises funds for a scholarship to Vanderbilt University, as well as several children’s charities in the Mobile, AL area.
